THE SANDSTONE PATIO, MAGNIFICENT LANDSCAPED GARDEN AND GORGEOUS OUTDOOR THATCHED LAPA AND ENTERTAINMENT AREA
The beautiful patio offers shade or sun depending on the time of day and the season, and the outdoor loungers give one the chance to relax with a view on the very well established private fully walled in landscaped garden that boasts a very large collection of stunning cycads and aloes that are bedazzling right throughout autumn and winter when they are in flower. There is an extensive lawn for children's play and to cater for our fur friends too. The rustic thatched swing also offers shade and another viewpoint on the magnificent garden. The thatched lapa has another living area with huge flop down couches and a spot where one can entertain family and friends, take an afternoon snooze (couches have single bed mattresses) or keep an eye on the braai.
THE LIVING AREA (LOUNGE AND DININGROOM) AND THE KITCHEN
The living area is expansive and has a magnificent rustic solid wood ceiling as well as solid wood floors, modern lighting, a really big fireplace for heating and ambience in winter, three super sized couches of which two are leather, a 50 inch TV as well as a fantastic sound system. The diningroom has a solid kiaat table with wrought iron and kiaat chairs. This area faces onto the open plan section of the kitchen that has a double counter with bar stools making it possible for guests to be seated there and entertained while the food preparations and cooking take place. A really super house for entertaining!
The kitchen is solid kiaat with very extensive granite tops allowing for loads of work space and to house some of the appliances which are topnotch. There is a whole collection of pots of pans in every size and for every type of cooking, crockery, and cutlery including plastic ware for children, and baby and toddler bowls, cups and utensils. Some of the appliances include an AEG double door fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a built in convection oven and microwave, a large glass hob and an impressive stainless steel extractor fan. The enormous cupboard space allows for storage of absolutely every utensil a kitchen needs as well as all the groceries you might want to store. There is a filter tap so you won't feel that it's necessary to have to buy filtered water.
THE FAMILY SUITE UPSTAIRS
The main bedroom upstairs has a kingsize extra length bed with a wonderfully comfortable mattress and a single solid wood bed that can accommodate a child too. The room is light and breezy, has very high rustic wooden ceilings that are insulated to hold in the heat in winter and maintain a lovely coolness in summer. There is a second fireplace in this suite which ensures that winters will be nothing but cosy and enjoyable. For a modern feel and super convenience, the double basins with their very exclusive taps, and bathroom cabinets form part of the bedroom. There is also a stack wooden sliding door that opens onto a wooden deck. The en suite bathroom has a gigantic "stone" bath, a super modern glass shower with a wonderful shower head and very fancy cobra taps, and all brought together with fabulous sandstone tiles. The very large solid kiaat built in cupboards are beautiful to behold and very functional, having the ability to store much more than you will ever need to.
The second main bedroom downstairs
This bedroom is exceptionally spacious and has two single beds made especially to fit very tightly together to make a kingsized bed. They can however be separated and used as two single beds if necessary. Linen is provided for both the kingsize and the single beds option. There is more than enough cupboard space, a lovely big chest of drawers and a very large kist in this bedroom too. The en suite bathroom has a shower, a toilet and a basin.
The third bedroom
This bedroom has a very comfortable yellowwood double bed, plenty of cupboard space, a rustic basket chest of drawers a yelllowwood kist and a smaller wooden bedside table chest of drawers.
The bathroom for this bedroom is not en suite and has a bath, a toilet and a basin.
