Things to do in and around Centurion 

RESTAURANTS AND TAKEAWAYS 

We are so centrally situated in Centurion that the options for things to do are endless. We have all the restaurants and takeaways you can dream of just a 2 to 5 minute drive away, including Spur, Mimmo's, Teriyaki, Crawdaddy's, Wimpy, Steer's Nando's, McDonald's,  Burger King, John Dory's, Roman's Pizza, Panarotti's, Subway, KFC and many more.

We are spoilt for choice in supermarkets, which are all around us and include Spar, Checkers, Woolworths Food, Pick n Pay, Makro,

GAUTRAIN STATION

Being only a block and a half away from the Centurion Gautrain station, Sandton, Rosebank, O.R. Tambo Airport and Hatfiled in Pretoria are very quickly and easily accessible from Coming Home with all that they offer.

SHOPPING MALLS

Our shopping malls in the area are Centurion Mall (1.6 km away), Irene Village Mall (8.3 km away), Mall@Reds (8.5 km away),  and Doringkloof Shopping Centre (2.4 km away).  There are smaller centres that offer take-aways,  supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies on almost every street corner of the main roads around us (Jean Ave is 600m away and Lenchen Ave is 300m away).

IRENE VILLAGE MARKET AND SMUTS HOUSE

The Irene Village Market has a flea market twice a month and Smuts House is a historical museum that was once the home of Jan Smuts, a former Prime minister of South Africa, and these are 7 km away from us and good entertainment  for a family.

RIETVLEI DAM NATURE RESERVE 

Rietvlei Dam Nature Reserve is 16 km away and offers game viewing (has rhino, buffalo, lion, black wildebeest, zebra and various antelope), and offers fishing, camping, birdwatching and horesriding.

IRENE DAIRY FARM

Irene Dairy Farm is 4.4 km away and is loved by people of all ages but is a must for children.  There are beautiful walks (fully paved), tractors for children to sit on, jungle gyms and swings, large sandpits and expansive lawns for children's play.  There are also restaurants to be enjoyed and the dairy shop that can be visited.  It has a lovely farm and historical feel and the public can view the milking of the cows and see other farm animals in their natural environment. 

GROENKLOOF NATURE RESERVE 

Groenkloof Nature Reserve is 13 km away and has zebra, wildebeest and giraffe to view and there are hiking, biking and walking trails to be enjoyed by the public.
